It was a fun morning last week when a small team from Sharana distributed notebooks to the 91 children of the Aranganur government primary school- part of our Collective Sponsorship program in Sharana. The children between ages 4-10 years old were overjoyed to have visitors and their laughter rang through every corner of the old government building.
The teachers and headmaster took time to speak with Anbu, lead social worker of community development programs and Vandana, coordinator of projects in Sharana about the progress of the children and their academic performance.
The Seeds of Change program continues to conduct activities with a group of children in this school once a week, and create awareness on waste and hygiene.
A big thank you to Mme Brigitte Peltier, principal donor of the Aranganur Collective Sponsorship program for having once again this year sponsored this project.
